One thing people get wrong about my industry is assuming every man who calls is looking for another woman.

Honestly, that hasn't been my experience.

A lot of the men I talk to aren't looking for another relationship at all. They're looking for an escape. Sometimes they've had a long day. Sometimes they're home alone. Sometimes they're just bored and want someone to make them laugh for a while.

Believe it or not, some of my favorite conversations never even make it to fantasy. We end up talking about work, sports, movies, vacations, or whatever happened that week. Then maybe the conversation shifts. Maybe it doesn't.

That's what I think a lot of people miss.

Sometimes you're not chasing another life. You're just looking for a break from this one.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying fantasy. There's nothing wrong with enjoying entertainment. The important part is keeping it honest, respecting other people's boundaries, and making sure everyone involved knows what kind of experience they're signing up for.

Life gets heavy sometimes.

There's nothing wrong with finding a healthy way to press pause for an hour.
